A Korean illustrator Kim Jung Youn is simple & honest. Because he knows very well about his favorite work & the one thing that he is good at. Since he likes basketball so much, there are many artists in other countries who only draws basketball theme work and there are many sports illustrators in Korea as well, so he thought he would work here and enjoy the work too. And as he was working on becoming an illustrator, he didn’t draw only basketball theme illustrations but also drew Jordan as well and came this far.
The illustrator who draws many stories of everyday life for us such as Basketball, Michael Jordan, and the stories of the youth. Recently, he opened private first exhibition ‘CLUTCH’ about basketball, street culture, traveling, high-teen basketball manga, characters and so on. It is certain that this exhibition makes spectators believe in the real stories of Kim Jung Youn as a sensuous illustrator. CultureM Magazine meets a young illustrator who draws the youth, Kim Jung Youn.
일러스트레이터 김정윤은 솔직 담백하다. 자신이 즐기면서 할 수 있는 일을 위해서는 시간과 노력, 그 어떤 것도 포기하지 않고 모두 쏟아 부을 줄 아는 작가이기 때문이다. 특히 농구로 대변되는 김정윤의 작품은 다양한 소재를 바탕으로 활동하는 국내 일러스트레이터들의 작품 중에서도 가장 눈에 띄는 것도 또한 사실일 것이다.
농구와 마이클 조던, 그리고 평범한 청춘 남녀들의 모습을 담아낸 꾸밈 없는 작품을 통해 2016년의 대한민국의 오늘을 이야기하는 일러스트레이터. 최근 선보인 첫 개인전 ‘CLUTCH’를 통해 대중과의 소통을 위해 그 동안의 소소한 이야기까지 아낌없이 공개한 일러스트레이터. 컬쳐엠매거진이 청춘을 그리는 젊은 일러스트레이터 김정윤을 만났다.
