길게 이어지는 복도는
구조적으로 필요한 공간이지만
그 자체로는 단조롭게 느껴질 수 있습니다.

이번 동탄 메타폴리스 현장에서는
복도 한쪽에 디스플레이장을 더해
시선이 머무는 장소을 만들었습니다.

자녀방 드레스룸을 새롭게 구성하며
문의 위치를 조정하는 과정에서 생긴
여유 공간을 그대로 두지 않고

상부에는 오브제를,
하부에는 생활용품을 수납할 수 있도록 구성해
보여주는 기능과 감추는 기능을 함께 담았습니다.

A long corridor may be structurally necessary,
but on its own, it can feel somewhat monotonous.

For this project,
we introduced a display cabinet along one side of the corridor,
creating a point of visual interest along the way.

As we reconfigured the dressing room for the child’s bedroom,
adjusting the position of the door created a small area of unused space.

Rather than leaving it as it was,
we turned it into purposeful storage,
with open display space above for objects
and concealed storage below for everyday essentials.

The result brings together
both the beauty of display and the practicality of storage.
