이번 주는 일주일 내내 이어진 아름다운 가을 날씨 덕분에 물욕마저 잠시 사라지는 날들을 보냈습니다.

누구에게나 공짜인 가을 하늘인데,
시골에서는 어쩐지 프리미엄이 붙은 것처럼 더 아름답게 느껴졌어요.

뭘 먹어도 맛있고, 뭘 해도 괜히 기분 좋은 그런 날들이었습니다.

정원에서는 사마귀와 한참 놀고,
어느 저녁에는 반딧불이도 만나고,
불타는 듯 번지는 노을을 바라보며 한동안 넋을 놓기도 했습니다.

이번 주에도 우리 세 식구는 우쿨렐레 연습을 했어요.
조금 서툴고 박자도 제각각이지만
그 소리가 정원 가득 퍼지는 순간만큼은
베를린 필하모닉인 듯 헤헤헤 🎶

물론 정원노동자의 본업도 잊지 않았습니다.
장미에게 비료도 챙겨주고, 방제도 하면서
다가오는 계절을 준비하는 소소한 정원일도 이어갔습니다.

아름다운 가을이 조금 오래~ 가줬으면 합니다.

계절이 바뀌는 만큼
우리도 너무 무리하지 말고 건강 잘 챙기면서
지금의 일상을 천천히 누려보자구요.

This week, we spent some wonderfully beautiful autumn days when even the desire to buy things seemed to disappear.

The autumn sky is free for everyone,
but somehow, here in the countryside, it feels like it comes with a premium price tag.

Everything tasted better, everything felt more enjoyable,
and even the simplest moments seemed a little more special.

We played with a praying mantis in the garden,
spotted fireflies one evening,
and stood mesmerized by a sunset that looked like the sky was on fire.

The three of us also continued practicing the ukulele this week.
We’re still a little off-beat and definitely not professional,
but once the sound fills the garden,
we feel like the Berlin Philharmonic. Hehehe. 🎶

Of course, the garden work continued as well.
I gave the roses some fertilizer, did a little pest control,
and slowly prepared the garden for the coming season.

I wish this beautiful autumn would stay a little longer.

As the season changes and the air gets colder,
let’s take good care of ourselves, not push too hard,
and simply enjoy these ordinary days while we can.
