8월이 끝나고 비가 지나가더니
어느 날 갑자기 가을이 와버렸습니다.
하늘은 높아지고 바람은 시원해지고,
마당에 나가 있으면 계절이 바뀌었다는 게 온몸으로 느껴지는 요즘입니다.
이럴 때면 새삼 마당 있는 집에 살고 있다는 것이 참 고맙습니다.
월요일에는 장을 잔뜩 보고 와서
이번 주도 열심히 집밥을 해먹었습니다.
냉장고가 든든하면 마음도 조금 든든해지는 것 같고요. ㅎㅎ
인스타그램 앱을 지운 뒤로는
틈나는 대로 우쿨렐레도 꾸준히 연습하고 있습니다.
아직 연주하면서 노래까지 부르는 건 쉽지 않아서
일단 연주만 열심히 하고 있습니다.
노래는… 언젠가 기회가 된다면요. 😂
시원해진 날씨 덕분에 미뤄두었던 정원도 조금씩 손보고,
꽃들을 들여다보고, 마당을 쓸고,
맛있는 집밥을 해먹으며 그렇게 한 주를 보냈습니다.
대단한 일은 없지만
계절이 바뀌는 순간을 느끼고
내가 사는 곳을 천천히 돌보며 보내는 하루.
8월을 보내고 9월을 맞이한
결이 고운가의 소소한 일상입니다.

After a rainy end to August, September arrived with cooler air, higher skies, and a hint of autumn.
The weather suddenly became so pleasant that spending time in the garden feels even more special these days. Living in a house with a garden has its little rewards, especially when the breeze is this lovely.
After doing the grocery shopping on Monday, I spent the week cooking and enjoying simple homemade meals. In between, I also found time for a little gardening—nothing too ambitious, just taking care of things here and there.
Since deleting Instagram, I’ve also been practicing the ukulele regularly. I can play a little, but playing and singing at the same time is still a completely different story. 😂
So for now, I’ll just keep playing… and leave the singing for another day. Haha.
Nothing particularly extraordinary happened this week.
Just cooking, gardening, practicing the ukulele, enjoying the cool breeze, and being grateful for these ordinary days at home.
