이번 주는 드디어 마당 싱크홀 복구에 나섰습니다.
벽돌을 하나씩 걷어낼 때마다 모습을 드러내는 두더지의 지하 세계.
입구와 출구로 추정되는 곳까지 흙을 채워 넣으며 일단 마무리했는데요.
얌전히 물러날 두더지들이 아니었는지 제게 도전장을 내밀더군요.
그래서 특단의 조치를 취했습니다.
현재까지는 제가 이긴 것으로 하겠습니다.

오랜만에 제대로 노동을 한 결이 아부지는 팔꿈치 통증으로 잠시 전력에서 이탈했고,
급히 선수 교체까지 감행하며 어찌어찌 복구 작업을 끝냈습니다.
다행히 일주일이 지난 지금은 팔도 많이 좋아졌습니다.
역시 모든 일에는 적당한 휴식이 필요한 법입니다.

여름과 가을 사이를 오가는 변덕스러운 날씨 속에서도 맛있는 것 해 먹고,
가족과 평온한 시간을 보내며 한 주를 마무리하려던 찰나!
주말에 갑자기 날아든 폭탄 같은 소식. 수익 창출 정지.
네? 갑자기요?
이미 벌어진 일은 어쩔 수 없으니 이제부터 차근차근 해결해 봐야겠습니다.

정원에서도 예상치 못한 일이 생기고, 일상에서도 예상치 못한 일이 생기는 법이니까요.
어떻게든 방법은 있겠지요. 일단은 그렇게 믿어보기로 합니다.

Little by little, our garden changes, and so does the everyday life of our family living in it.

This week, we finally tackled the sinkhole in our garden, filling it with soil and putting the paving bricks back in place. But every brick we lifted revealed another surprise in the mole's underground kingdom. Just how extensive is this tunnel system? We filled what we suspected were the entrances and exits, but it seems our little underground neighbors aren't ready to give up just yet. A challenge has been issued, and for now, I'm calling it a win for myself!

The hard work was a little too much for my husband, who developed some elbow pain and had to be replaced mid-project. Thankfully, he's feeling much better a week later.

The weather couldn't quite decide between summer and autumn, so we enjoyed some home-cooked meals and peaceful family moments while trying to stay healthy through the seasonal changes.

And just when we thought the weekend would be nice and quiet, a bombshell arrived: Monetization Disabled.

Well, that certainly wasn't on the weekly agenda! What's done is done, so it's time to figure out how to deal with it. There must be a way forward, right? For now, I'll take a deep breath and see what comes next.
