두 개의 방을 하나로 합치면서
복도 끝에 남겨진 공간.

이번 광교 월드마크푸르지오 현장에서는
그 공간을 강아지 전용 건식 세면 공간으로
다시 계획했습니다.

현관과 가까운 위치에 있어
산책 후 바로 발을 씻길 수 있도록 했고,

벽 배수 방식을 적용해
청소와 관리까지 편리하도록 설계했습니다.

작은 공간이지만 생활 속에서는
가장 자주 사용되는 공간이 되기도 합니다.

좋은 설계는
남는 공간을 그저 채우는 것이 아니라
생활에 필요한 역할을 담아내는 일입니다.

When two separate rooms were combined into one,

this space was left at the end of the hallway.

Rather than leaving it unused,

we reimagined it as a dedicated dry wash station for the dogs.

Located just off the entrance,

it allows their paws to be cleaned immediately after a walk,

while a wall-drain system keeps the floor clean

and makes everyday maintenance easier.

Though compact in size,

it is one of the most frequently used spaces in daily life.

Good design is not about simply filling an empty space.

It is about giving every space a purpose that supports the way people live.
